Communication Guidelines
Whisperly helps adults have meaningful text and voice conversations with new people. These Guidelines explain what is not allowed on Whisperly so people can connect openly without harassment, exploitation, deception, or unlawful conduct.
Effective Date: March 24, 2026
Last Updated: March 26, 2026
These Guidelines are part of our Terms of Service and apply to all use of Whisperly, including text chats, voice calls, profile information, usernames, shared content, reports, and behavior that creates a direct safety risk on the platform.
Our Trust & Safety team reviews reports from users, moderators, trusted partners, internal safety systems, and, where required, legal authorities. When we identify a violation, we may issue warnings, remove content, restrict features, end active conversations, suspend accounts or devices, permanently ban access, or report conduct to law enforcement.
If you see conduct that appears to violate these Guidelines, please report it. Do not retaliate, investigate users on your own, or encourage vigilantism, as this can increase harm and interfere with legitimate enforcement or legal review.
Respect Other People
Whisperly is built for adult conversations with strangers. That only works when people can speak freely without being harassed, pressured, deceived, or exploited.
Do not harass, bully, or target other users.
We do not allow harassment, intimidation, stalking, humiliation, repeated unwanted contact, or coordinated abuse. Sexual harassment and attempts to continue contact after a clear rejection are also prohibited.
Do not threaten violence, harm, or coercion.
Direct, indirect, and suggestive threats are not allowed. This includes threats of physical violence, blackmail, extortion, intimidation, or threats of self-harm used to manipulate another person.
Do not invade privacy or expose personal information.
Do not share, request, buy, sell, or threaten to reveal another person's private information without clear consent. This includes doxxing, identity exposure, location sharing, contact details, and attempts to uncover anonymous users.
Do not use hate speech or engage in hateful conduct.
Content or behavior that attacks, degrades, or promotes hatred against people based on protected characteristics is prohibited. This includes slurs, dehumanizing language, hate symbols, and praise, denial, or celebration of mass atrocities.
Respect boundaries, consent, and comfort.
If another user says no, wants to leave, or asks to change the subject, stop. Do not pressure people into sexual conversations, personal disclosures, emotional labor, or off-platform contact.
Do not engage in any sexual or exploitative conduct involving minors.
Whisperly is an adults-only service. Any attempt to involve minors in sexual content, sexual conversation, grooming, or exploitative behavior is strictly forbidden.
This includes real, fictional, edited, animated, or AI-generated material that sexualizes minors, as well as requests, prompts, or attempts to obtain that material.
Do not share intimate content without consent.
Do not share, threaten to share, solicit, or create intimate or sexually explicit content of another person without that person's explicit consent. This includes edited media, leaked content, and AI-generated intimate imagery.
Do not glorify self-harm or graphic abuse.
Content that encourages or normalizes suicide, self-harm, eating disorders, extreme violence, gore, or animal cruelty is not allowed, especially when used to shock, manipulate, or distress other users.
Respect Whisperly
Whisperly depends on trust in the service itself. Users may not abuse anonymity, platform systems, or reporting tools in ways that put others or the product at risk.
Do not spam, solicit, or use Whisperly for mass outreach.
Unsolicited promotion, repetitive messaging, commercial outreach, fake giveaways, recruitment schemes, and attempts to move users off-platform for prohibited or commercial purposes are not allowed.
Do not scam, phish, or deceive other users.
You may not use Whisperly to run financial scams, catfish for harmful purposes, steal credentials, trick users into sending money, or manipulate people through deception for personal gain.
Do not impersonate others or misrepresent your identity in a harmful way.
Do not pretend to be another person, organization, moderator, or public figure. Harmful impersonation, deceptive age claims, and identity misrepresentation intended to mislead or exploit others are prohibited.
Do not evade enforcement or manipulate platform systems.
Users may not create alternate accounts, use automation, reset devices, manipulate matching or reporting systems, or otherwise attempt to bypass moderation decisions, safety controls, or product limits.
Do not abuse security or interfere with the service.
Attempts to distribute malware, phish users, gain unauthorized access, scrape protected data, overload systems, or disrupt the availability, reliability, or integrity of Whisperly are strictly prohibited.
Do not submit false, misleading, or abusive reports.
Reports and support requests must be made in good faith. You may not use safety tools to harass others, retaliate, or try to manipulate moderation outcomes with knowingly false information.
